We’ve been doing a lot of dreaming and planning behind the scenes and are excited to share IT’S GO TIME!!
N4622 Cty Rd M West Salem, WI is the perfect lot on an acre of land just outside of town, surrounded by trees and connected to the bike path.
It’s dreamy and has a history near and dear.
Many of you know, Coulee Health Fitness opened at it’s new location in December 2023 and we are excited to share that Coulee Health and Coulee Health Birth Collective’s new BIRTH CENTER will join Coulee Health fitness at our new home!
We’ve dreamed of having everything in one space for so long and have had so much support in finding our perfect spot including many other “perfect spots” we thought were the one along the way. All an integral part of the bigger plan.
There have been months of behind the scenes work, questioning our sanity, surrendering control, and controlling what we can and then all of the sudden we are getting bids, state approval, and emailing the architect more times than he probably enjoys. Then, suddenly picking out birth tubs, doors, handles, questioning our sanity again, and getting really dang excited!
Walls will be framed by the end of this week! If we knew how to get an emoji in this blog it would be the mind blown one.
When working with different teams and contractors we know it is inevitable that things come up affecting timing but we do now for sure that Coulee Health chiropractic and massage therapy will be in the new building by July 1st. The birth center feels a bit more like a due date itself so to play is safe we will be accepting birth center clients with due dates starting in mid August.
Here’s the plan:
The back building will remain Coulee Health fitness and be home to our regular fitness classes (which you can try for FREE for up to two weeks) workshops, classes, and continuing education courses for other chiropractors, PTs, midwives, and birth workers. There is a small room in the back of the gym with some exciting inquiries on use so we will keep you in the loop as we know more.
The front building will house rooms for chiropractic, massage therapy, functional medicine, sauna and A COLD PLUNGE (thanks to all who voted). The very front of that building, the old West Salem Planing and Molding showroom, will be the lobby area and we are completely in love with all of the natural light. Both the sunrise and the sunset views are just incredible.
And speaking of light, there are three HUGE windows being added to the back of the building right now. The will overlook the woods and bike trail. This is where the birth center will be located. There is a private entrance in the back of the building for birth collective families to enter. They will enter into a family area connected to Dr. Erica’s treatment room and two birth rooms, both with birth tubs.
We have left an gathering area in near front building as well and are looking forward to building even more community and connection in this area!

The picture above was taken over the weekend (you can see the before picture in Savanna’s blog HERE). That’s our general contractor in the middle and he’s doing a damn good job so far! To the left is our brother-in-law who is probably the handiest human we know and has been working hard in his “off hours” since we started the gym project back in November!

Savanna has already started the Customer Appreciation event party planning for June so you better believe it’s going to be good!
