We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding care at our practice. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to transition out of network with Forward Health. The restrictions on practice have become too grand and we are dedicated to providing quality and complete care.
We understand this may prompt questions about what this means for you and your care, and we want to reassure you of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the highest quality care and service. This change will take effect as of the first of the year. January 1, 2025. Below, we outline some of the benefits of this change and how it may positively impact your experience with us:
1. More Personalized Care and Focus on Your Needs
By operating outside of insurance constraints, we can focus entirely on your individual health and wellness goals. Insurance companies, especially Forward Health, often place limits on the types and frequency of care we can provide, which may not align with what’s best for you and we have found does not align with our value and commitment to our patients at Coulee Health. As an out-of-network provider, we can prioritize what works best for you—not an insurance company’s policies.
2. Simplified and Transparent Pricing
Our out-of-network status allows us to offer clear, upfront pricing for all our services. Forward Health only allows coverage and pay for the new patient exam and adjustment. Here at Coulee Health going beyond the adjustment is one of the things that sets us apart. If you have received care here you have likely experienced prenatal or postpartum chiropractic care, diaphragm release, soft tissue work, movement recommendations, a peek in your child’s ears, or nutrition and wellness support, none of which is “allowed” by Forward Health. For many patients, and for us, transparency moving forward rather than concerns with more confusion for our patients, fosters greater trust and satisfaction.
3. Enhanced Quality and Time with Your Chiropractor
In addition to practice restrictions, insurance networks often place significant administrative burdens on healthcare providers, taking away time and resources that could be better spent directly on patient care. By moving out of network, we can dedicate more of our time and energy to you, ensuring a better overall experience.
4. Greater Flexibility in Treatment Options
When we are not restricted by insurance coverage limitations as mentioned above, we can offer you a broader range of treatment options tailored to your unique needs. This ensures that your care plan is truly designed with your best interests in mind. We do not stand by the “Whack-a-mole” approach and our out of alignment with our integrity if forced into this model. We know it is not the long term solution.
